7.1 The Committee noted a forthcoming consultation by Ofcom on the Channel 4 licence, specifically the programming and spending requirements on content ‘out of London’ and ‘out of England’, and agreed to submit a response.

8.1 The Committee considered and agreed the draft forward work programme for autumn 2024.

 

8.2 The Committee considered and agreed the draft Terms of Reference for a future inquiry into the impact of funding reductions for culture and sport.

 

8.3 The Committee agreed to write to the Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee to request to be kept informed of its work on scrutinising the accounts of Amgueddfa Cymru 2021-22.

 

8.4 The Committee noted the letter from the Chair of the Children, Young People and Education Committee inviting Members to a technical briefing on the Welsh Language and Education (Wales) Bill which the Committee attended earlier that day.
